Erasmus+ project MA EduTech
The MA EduTech project, short for „MA in Educational Technology: A New Online Blended Learning Program for New Member States“ (2017-2020), is an innovation project funded through EU’s Erasmus+ programme that aims at developing educators’ digital competence. The project consortium is composed of three institutions, the University of Tartu (Estonia), Riga Technical University (Latvia), The University of Utrecht (The Netherlands).
The project develops and pilots a blended learning MA programme that is innovative in new member states and focuses on teaching skills required in the 21. century (such as implementing educational technologies in teaching and learning, collaborative learning, inquiry learning, problem-solving, etc.) to professionals active in the field of education.
The University of Tartu opened its international partially web-based Educational Technology MA programme in 2017; Riga Technical University plans to launch their MA programme in 2019.
In addition to that, a public online platform is created which offers free materials to everyone interested in educational technology and related topics. The platform can be found here: https://edutech.mii.lv/
